Summer Camp 2008: The WTBA International Summer Camp for 2008. |
Due to the great success of Camp 2007 in Rostock Germany, Erle will hold this event annually where instructors can catch up with other WTBA instructors and also be 'seen' for the purposes of grading etc. Not to mention the great friendship and learning. 2008 camp will be held from the (arrival day) 10th of July 2008 to the 14th of July 2008. Training will cover the 4 days 11th to 14th. The cost for instruction will be €280.00 while for accommodation and food combined keep an eye on this space. However, in 2007 the price for both was minimal considering that you are put up in nice cabins and only the very best of food is provided.COST:Officially the cost for room and board, three meals as we are accustomed to it, will be 30 Euros per night. Cabins and wagons will be distributed on a first-come-first serve basis, i.e. those who register late might not get into a cabin. Otherwise everything will remain the same.COST of Training will be the same: Euros 280.00. What Taught: 2008, I will get through the 2nd half of the excellent Bagua Linear/fighting form. See An Article HERE: Tai Chi, Old Yang Style: From scratch. Erle will teach this form from the beginning and get through as much of it as possible in the morning sessions as well as after dinner. Push Hands, back to basics of Double Push Hands will also be taught. A great time for everyone to get the correct information as a solid foundation. Nor many actually do double push hands correctly so this will prove to be a great bonus from Camp 2008. Qigong will again be taught in our "Extra Periods" as well as the Advanced Pauchui/Large San-Sau as we began in 2007 which also proved a big hit. An Article on Camp 2007. Gradings will only be given at this event or if Erle Montaigue actually sees your performance in some other way personally. The reason is that only a couple of students booked accommodation (which we had to eventually pay for) and just didn't turn up! So someone had to pay for that accommodation as we train at a professionally run camp. So Please get your deposits in for camp 2008 early as camp 2007 was just about full and 50 is as ideal number to cater for.Here is the link to Ron Beier's information about this camp.
