Eli Montaigue bit ce u Zagrebu na vikend radionici Taijija.

Subota

Prvi dan fokusirati cemo se na borilacku stranu Taijija. Ucenje o samoobrani, ali i borilacki aspekti pomažu nam da bolje razumijemo kako se kretati tijekom Taiji forme i Qigonga.

Vježbat cemo dva glavna podrucja, Chee Sau (ljepljive ruke) i Taiji boks. U Chee Sauu ucimo o vještinama slušanja, citanju pokreta partnera, osjecanju kada se mijenjaju kako bismo vidjeli dolazak napada. S gledišta metode borbe, uci nas o bliskoj borbi, gdje ste u stalnom kontaktu s partnerom, više hvatajuci u zamke nego blokirajuci u obrani, "osluškivati" pokret kako bismo stvorili praznine za udarac. 

Taiji boks je mjesto gdje se fokusiramo na udarce. To se radi u dva dijela. Interaktivni rad sa fokuserima,  vaš partner ce pomicati fokusere koje drži za vas, uzrokujuci da promašite, uceci vas o održavanju kontrole i ravnoteže.  Zatim imamo nekoliko vježbi s partnerom s metodama obrane od napada; raditi cete niz tehnika kako biste naucili ispravnu tehniku prije nego što možete prijeci na slobodni sparing. Ove metode treba prvo izvoditi polako, bez potrebe za rukavicama, a kasnije, kada pocnete povecavati brzinu i snagu, toplo se preporucuje korištenje rukavica.

Nedjelja

Drugog dana usredotocit cemo se na Taiji formu. Tema ce biti spirale unutar forme. Eli ce uzeti neke pokrete iz forme starog Yang stila i pokazati vam kako ukljuciti te spirale u pokret, stvarajuci prekrasan trodimenzionalni pokret, donoseci više snage i protoka Qi-ja kroz formu. Neki ce biti prilicno jednostavni a drugi ce biti složeniji, tako da ce  svaki polaznik dobiti nešto primjereno svojoj razini .

Eli Montaigue will be in Zagreb for a weekend Taiji workshop. 

Saturday 26th.
This first day focusses on the martial side of Taiji. To learn about self defence, but also, the martial aspects help give you a better understanding of how to move the body during your Taiji form and Qigong work.
We will be practicing two main areas, Chee Sau (Sticky Hands) and Taiji Boxing. Chee Sau is were we learn about listening skills, reading our partners movement, feeling when they change to see the attack coming. From a fighting method point of view, it teaches us about in close fighting, where you are in constant contact with your partner, trapping more so than blocking in defence, grappling to create gaps to strike. 
Taiji boxing is where we focus on the striking side of things. This is done in two parts. Interactive pad work, where your partner will move the pads they are holding for you, causing you to miss, teaching you about maintain control and balance. Then we have some partner drills with attack defence methods, you do a sequence of techniques to learn correct technique, before being able to move onto free sparring. These methods should be done slowly first, without the need for gloves, then later once you start putting up the speed and power it is highly recommended to use gloves. 

Sunday 27th.
On day two we will focus on the Taiji form. The theme will be spirals within the form. Eli will take some movements from the Old Yang Style form and show you how to incorporate these spirals into the movement, creating a beautiful three dimensional movement, bringing more power and Qi flow through the form. Some will be quite simple, others will be more complex, giving all levels of students something suitable.
